If I could give zero stars for the manager of this site Adam I would. He displayed the epitome of this site just gave him the position because they needed to fill it.. I came into this location on 12/6/25 to get an eye exam and some new frames... I wasn't aware until I sat down at the table they didn't accept the eyemed insurance and my total charges would be $994.00. I told the young lady that assisted me that I wanted to cancel the order but she found some frames that were a little bit less bringing my total down to 850.00..I moved forward with the purchase but over the weekend I decided that the amount was still too high and would rather find a company that accepted insurance.I spoke with the store manager of the forest drive location in Columbia SC and he told me that I couldn't cancel my order due to the glasses being in production. I stated to him based on what I read online that I needed to call ASAP once I determined I didn't want to move forward with the process I reached out to stanton the very next business day which after 12/6/25 would've been today. Adam was extremely rude and unprofessional and I will no longer be doing business with ANY Stanton optical EVER again.. Tip: Do better by your loyal customers

Not only did I get to leave wearing contacts, I got a 6 month supply and two pairs of glasses all under $500!! As a woman, I didn’t realize how much people were price gouging me until I came in! I spend $500 on ONE pair of glasses and zero contacts! Ahh!! I’m so happy!! And you get a Starbucks right as you leave ✨🤸✨🙆♀️✨

Got fitted for glasses and Adam was most helpful and knowledgeable. Prices were great and I will definitely revisit this store next year
