- MSMido Said1 day ago1.0There were not honest and upfront about prices. They told me one price and charged me a higher price. When I asked them they said because we did other things which I wasn’t aware of or was asked if I want it. Definitely be careful when you shop there. Plus the exam isn’t free as they stated on their website. You will end up paying more for sure. Also, when I did my eye exam, the Dr was virtual/online. He was eating while doing my exam and was somewhat in rush. Didn’t even give me the chance to ask questions and he was out. I have had better experience somewhere else.

When I said I’d just take the prescription without buying glasses, they tried to charge me $150. When I protested that, I wasn’t charged. But I still don’t have a new prescription and have to go find a new place for an eye exam.

During the write-up of the lenses, the tech started putting down options and prices like they were mandatory. Anti glare and blue light filter are an add-on, and phones and computers already hanged blue light blocking. In the end, the lenses were going to come out to almost $200, when I asked about the options he added, he acted surprised that I didn't want them. When I ended up getting transitions, it came to $120. After that, he said with tax it was over $160. When I asked why tax was so much, he said something about it being 9%. Now, 9% of 120 is not $40+, and when I said that, he claimed that he would talk to his manager about waiving the tax. Waiving tax? That's a new one. They ended up waiving the cost, but honestly, they are money hungry, and are scamming their customers. Buyer beware, you can go online and get glasses fort 1/4 the price of what they're gouging for.

My lens was damaged within the two year "warranty" and when I called they said the price of the lens was in the high one hundreds. So I decided to not get new lens. Recently, I called again to check on prices and was told that my warranty expired (which I knew of) but that the price if I still had my warranty would be under a hundred dollars. What happened? Sounds like the first time I called the person gave me the wrong information (if not outright lied to me) and because of that I missed getting my lens for under a hundred dollars. Very sketchy.
