  Wow, where do I even begin?! This whole experience was absolutely amazing. The staff at the LASIK Vision Institute in Providence were so friendly, patient, and genuinely caring. They took their time to answer every one of my questions and made sure I felt completely informed and comfortable. The procedure itself was incredibly quick, and my surgeon talked me through every step, I felt safe the entire time. My prescription was very high, so when I could already see (even if a little blurry) right after the surgery, I was completely shocked! It’s only been 24h post-op and I went from 20/800 vision to 20/15 vision! The team explained my aftercare in detail and sent me home with a little goody bag that had everything I needed for recovery. If you’re eligible for LASIK and thinking about getting it done, this is your sign to do it! I couldn’t be happier with my results or the amazing team who made it all possible.

  I had a wonderful experience, everyone was very kind and the surgery process was smooth. The nurses and doctors did a great job at helping me with my nervousness and even inside the doc office were i got surgery was relaxing. Great experience.

  I had Lasik surgery done about A month ago. I was a little skeptical at first because I didn’t know whether I wanted surgery on my eyes to correct my vision. I spoke with my optometrist about this procedure and she said that I was a good candidate for the surgery. So I decided to follow up with Lasik and they confirmed what she had stated. They went through the whole process after examining my eyes and reassured me That the procedure was quick and painless. After I researched it online and thought about it for a couple of weeks, I decided to proceed Day of the surgery went smooth as the doctor came in prior to that and explained a step-by-step process on what would take place He was very thorough in his description of what he was going to do Within 20 minutes, he started the procedure and again, walked me through every step as he was doing it. This gave me a good piece of mind. The whole process took less than a half an hour. I followed the care directions and followed up with my optometrist three days later. She said my eyes looked great and that the healing process is coming along great. So I continued with eyedrops and antibiotics for a week and went back to see her again. She checked my vision and I had 20/15 vision!!! It has been about a month now, and my vision has been totally corrected. Even my nearsighted vision has improved. Very pleased about the whole process and how Lasic walks you through every Step of the process. Although I had to pay out-of-pocket for this surgery because medical does not cover it. They had different ways of covering the cost so I picked the best one for my budget. They broke the payment up over the course of the year with no interest charges. They also gave me a discount on the overall procedure. I highly recommend Lasik if you were going to have this procedure done. I do recommend having your optometrist, check your eyes first and make sure that you’re a good candidate for this procedure. Always good to have a second opinion.

  I've had glasses/contacts for 25 years and finally decided to get Lasik this past Friday. It has only been three days and it's the greatest decision I've made. My vision is now at 20/15, which is better than 20/20. I never thought I'd be able to wake up and not have to put glasses on right away. It's a blessing to be able to wake up with clear eyes! I highly recommend The LASIK Vision Institute and wish I had gotten the procedure done sooner. Worth every penny.
