- JHJustine HenryMay 2, 20221.0I started seeing Noreen Shaffi several months ago for anxiety and ADHD. She suggested I talk to my Dr. about getting on some medication. I took her advice and made an appointment with my primary care physician. It took a while to get an appointment due to COVID and scheduling issues. I continued to see Noreen once a week. After I had an office visit with my PCP in February, I asked Noreen to release my medical records and she agreed to do so. I signed the medical release forms and reminded Noreen every week. During our last session in April, I asked her once again to release my medical records and gave her the name, address, and phone number of my PCP. Noreen knew that without my medical records my Dr. would not prescribe any medication. I sent numerous emails and text messages, as well as, left voicemails and tried facsimile. She failed to respond to any of these. I went by her office at 333 School Street and found it closed. The door was locked and her name was no longer on it. As of right now there is no one that can help me get my medical records. After five months of therapy it seems that I will have to start over with a new therapist. Situations like this are the reason why people don't seek help. I do not recommend.
