He came to live with me in April 2025 with hospice services for his Alzheimer’s diagnosis, + I truly believe that because of the extraordinary care from Comfort Keepers, he has thrived in ways none of us ever expected. He is happy, engaged, + enjoying the best quality of life he’s had in years. In fact, he is being discharged from hospice this Friday because he no longer meets criteria—something I credit directly to the compassionate, consistent, and specialized support he receives every single day. Before being assigned his current CNA, Bo, my Dad worked closely with Max, who was also wonderful + provided excellent foundational care and support during his transition into our home. When Bo joined us, the care continued seamlessly—and then elevated even further. Bo goes above+ beyond in everything he does. He treats my Dad with unwavering dignity, patience, humor, +genuine respect. His presence has transformed our home, giving my Dad structure, joy, routine, and meaningful connection. We feel blessed to have him. Our gratitude extends just as deeply to Vanitie and Kathy, whose communication, guidance, +coordination ensure that nothing ever falls through the cracks. Their level of professionalism combined with their heartfelt compassion is something truly rare. Comfort Keepers’ specially trained caregivers engage him in intellectual, physical, +emotional activities that beautifully complement his medical care and enrich his days. Shame you do not show up for appts, shame you lie to customer repeatedly, shame you do not honor those that have served their country in wars and in their older age are disrespected. I wish the VA would contract with a company that has integrity, ethics, and honesty.
