From start to finish everyone who I met was fabulous.
Went here to get my nexplanon removed, and I was quite nervous. When I arrived, I rang a bell and explained I have an appt, and they allowed me in (can I say I love the privacy factor here!?). I had brought my fiance with me but they are only on a patient only basis with allowing people in (which I didn’t realize how amazing that truly is).
The front desk staff was kind. Quick check in. I arrived about 15 minutes early in case there was any ppw to do. When I was brought back the nurse explained everything thoroughly.
The NP who I saw was very knowledgeable and super calm which in turn helped my anxiety about getting it removed.
When I left, there was only about 1 protester outside who seemed to just be holding a sign and not saying anything (I was fairly worried when booking an appt with running into protestors, and I was so happy this person didn’t confront me, hence why the fiance came just in case!).
Overall everyone is kind and knowledgeable. I didn’t feel unseen once here. Validated all of the emotions I was feeling and answered any questions I had.

The parking lot is tiny and when there were no spaces available and it took me 10 minutes to find parking, making me a few minutes late for my appointment the woman at the desk was rude and said they couldn’t keep my appointment anymore because they only had one provider. I tried calling while I was looking for parking but no one answered the phone. Healthcare is already difficult without providers being rude and cancelling appointments

This is actually the worst planned parenthood facility I have ever been to the lack of empathy, lack of time management is really astounding. The doctors and nurse and staff are really kind but the receptionist and the office manager are extremely rude and don’t allow any grace. I’ve been waiting at this facility sometimes for an hour plus. But yet when I came to the facility a little late within 10 minutes of my time they did not allow me to simply just get a shot. They argued OVER ONE MINUTE of tardiness. Not only that they were visibly upset when as a patient, I was upset. Avis and her manager were the ones to handle my case and not only were they not sympathetic they were even unwilling to pull the cctv footage. Also I have VISUALLY SEEN them allow other late patients in in the past but not me. I feel that bias treatment exists here and it truly unfair.

Lots of the workers are rude and on the down low judgmental. Showed up to my 12 o’clock appointment just for them to say they canceled it because a staff member didn’t show up. And they put my information in wrong and got me mixed up with my sister, who they also have on file. I feel like siblings is a pretty common thing so not sure how that happened. Especially when they should be double checking date of birth phone numbers, email, etc. They also had the audacity to blame me before they realized it was their mistake….
