You wouldn't expect to find an underwater fun park in the reception area as well as video games and a lot of fun in a dentist's office but that is exactly the point. Dr. De La Roche is changing how children experience dentistry with a state of the art facility in Western Pennsylvania.

Had an appointment for my child for six months. Roughly a week before they text me stating they had to cancel that appointment and reschedule me, this being our second visit and the second time they did this, I said no. Waited for the confirmation text for the regular scheduled appointment and confirmed. Went in for our appointment and they told me we never confirmed so the scheduled over us and we no longer had an appointment. When I told her “no I have the texts” then waited almost an hour with a two year old for a check up because then we were just “squeezed in” like we did something wrong. Really crappy business practice to just book over people then gaslight them that it was because they didn’t “confirm” they’re appointment when they did.

I was running late for my daughter’s appointment. I text the office cellphone that I was on my way and would be late. We got there 13 minute late. I was informed that there is a 10 minute grace period and the doctor had left for the day. Hard to believe that even if I was there 3 minutes earlier that they would have seen us.
Also let’s not forget the numerous times we have waited 45 minutes+ our appointment time. It’s ok to make the patients wait. I left work got my kids out of school early and drove 30 minutes. Yes I understand I should have gave myself more time to get there but they could have also acknowledged the message I sent to the office cellphone they claimed they were too busy to look at meanwhile when I got there not one patient was there and there were 4 of them just sitting around waiting to clock out.
Just super frustrating the lack of courtesy. We will not be returning.

My two daughters have been going to Tender Care since they were very young! Dr. B has always went above and beyond with the care for my daughters (especially with my daughter who has extreme anxiety and she also has disabilities due health issues!) I admire doctors like Doctor B who go out of their way to research my daughters disease's (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Autonomic Dysfunction and more) so that the doctor is better prepared for any issue that could arise! When I tell other doctors (her Specialty Doctors and her PCP) about Doctor B and how helpful she has been with my disabled daughter... they actually state that's a good doctor! That's what I think too and I'm grateful that we found such a caring person to be my family's Dentist!
