I have a complex set of problems,including joints that frequently dislocate. Phoenix has been excellent at preparing me for,and healing me from, a shoulder reconstruction, as well as making sure I don't hurt myself any further just doing the PT. That's all just so important to me, this is my one and only life and body, and PT is *actually improving* my experience significantly... I'm so grateful that I asked for physical therapy BEFORE the surgery that I was dreading so much... Bob, my therapist, has also been so compassionate during what is such a difficult time for my body. I was in agony, and completely terrified to move after the surgery, even to do the minor but very important exercises to keep it from "freezing up". Bob helped me to really know that my prescribed movements would be safe, and not "undo" the work I'd had done. I'll be getting a new knee,as soon as my new shoulder is strong enough... I'm dreading that too, but not near as much as before PT. It looks like I'm going to be going to PT for a long while yet, and I'm very grateful, and highly recommend both Physical Therapy and Phoenix. They know what they're doing there, they're kind, and flexible with the schedule. I'm so glad I found Phoenix!
