- MMMelodyDec 13, 20252.0I dont ever do these reviews but really felt I had to. The staff was very nice. I do not have dental insurance and on a limited income.. so every dollar counts. I went to Conestoga Oral Surgery for failed crowns in need of extraction. I called around to several places before landing there for my needs at that time. When I called I asked what the fee was for self pay and was told the consult was $120. what they neglected to tell me was there would be more charges for images. They did a CT scan which didnt even show the root systems of my teeth and I was unable to take that image with me at $177. I think I should have been able to do. The dentist spent about 10 mins with me. The people answering the phone should tell you a consult does not include imaging. Not only a total waste of time I am now down $297. what a rip off. My fancy dentist who does crowns and implants doesnt even charge for that CT scan or consultation fees.
