  I went to Stanton optical after seeing their ads for same day glasses. I didn’t have any issues seeing through my current prescription just figured I’d go get a check up as it had been over 2 years. The disappointment started that day when I went in and got my exam done. The staff member that was helping me decided to confide in me and tell me how much she dislikes her job and can’t wait to leave and move on while pressuring me about the frames that would look best on me (shocker they were the most expensive frames in the store and telling me she wanted to steal the sale from her coworker.) after I chose my frames and sat down with her she comped the exam fee, okay great! I thought this was so nice so I pay and am immediately told they don’t have my lens in stock and they’re have to order them and turn around time is a week or so. I was expecting same day glasses since I was seeing all the ads. I go in and pick up my glasses a week and half later to go home and not be able to see at all. They were so hazy and no had visibility with distance. I tried to get used to them for a week because it was a new prescription but still no luck. I called and my concern got pushed to the side and I was rudely told to come in and they’ll check it out. I go in and get a recheck to which they make a mock pair of glasses for me to try on with the new lens. Guess what? Still couldn’t see anything through them they were so hazy and the prescription wasn’t even close. I told her I couldn’t see out of them still and she was shocked. She tweaked my prescription again and had me try them on once more. They were still so hazy so i asked her if that was normal to which she responded “they’re just dirty we’ll get this change made we just have to wait for the doctor to approve it” I waited forever just for them to tell me the doctor wasn’t getting back to them and they STILL didn’t have my glasses in stock so still no same day service on frames. I leave and get the call a week and half later to pick them up. It doesn’t end there. I go home just to have the same issue with the hazy lens and not being able to see. I call them to check their refund policy because at this point I was over it and didn’t feel I should spend over $300 on glasses I couldn’t see out of and was told they can refund me for the glasses since they’ve done everything with the recheck and I must be a “complex case” I go in same day to get my refund and return my glasses just to not get a full refund. I was told they can’t refund the exam price of $80 but I never paid for the exam in the first place! So I still didn’t get my full refund of the frames. Although they were helpful with the issues I was having I was pushed around with excuses, rude employees and I still didn’t get all my money back. I do not recommend Stanton optical to anyone if you want a correct prescription and high quality glasses without having excuses being made for issues you’re having.

  This is a telehealth location with no doctor in house, be aware if you are a complex patient and/or need a DILATED eye exam, they will refer you out.

  10/10 would recommend to anyone! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Violet as she made the whole process easy from start to finish. I’m super picky when it comes to finding the right glasses, and I truly feel like she went the extra mile.That kind of service is hard to come by nowadays!

  I had a great experience today...the two ladies on staff today were helpful and very kind... I was able to have walk-in eye exam and walked out with two pairs of glasses the same day... Unlike other places that advertised that I could do a walk-in eye exam and glasses Stanton Optical was the only one that was true to that ..It was very convenient and very efficient... I highly recommend Stanton optical and I thank the ladies who were so helpful
