  Affirming care for neurodiversity and sensory sensitivities! I was astounded by how my 6 yo‘s emotional regulation improved in just 4-6 sessions. Antoinette is a wonder with kids and parents. She a great DIR Floortime provider. She understands developmental stages and needs and helps kids meet them, which improves behavior and relationships. Worth every penny I spend and I couldn’t imagine navigating this without her. Highly recommend!

  Although we didn’t get to meet with back mountain music therapy for as long as we would have liked for our daughter, scheduling conflict, we felt it was going in a good direction. Although it was not a method my husband and I were use to or educated about, the therapist explained the things she was doing and why she was going them. We sent our daughter there because she has a terrible attention and focus problem. We adopted her and she has tons of past trauma which has caused issues in development. She is controlling and wants to be in control. We would recommend this therapy to others and we would consider going back if our schedule allowed.

  Both of my sons have Autism and developmental delays. Speech and socialization are our main areas of focus; but before that there are so many skills that need to be learned to build the foundation for speech. Music therapy has helped both of my sons tremendously. It takes a multifaceted approach to help kids with special needs and music therapy is integral part of that. Do not hesitate to try it!

  Antoinette has helped my autistic son learn to access parts of his brain he wasn't able to before. His ability to communicate and relate to others has grown so much in the past year! The music seems to reach him in a way no other therapy has been able to. The creative process also seems to be very cathartic for him and is an amazing source of expression and emotional release. Alternative therapies like these are key to helping autistic folks and other people with neurological issues find healthy growth and change that comes from a natural and organic way of accessing the brain and training it to find new ways of thinking. No behavioral therapy or medication can accomplish this. I'm so grateful we found Back Mountain Music Therapy. It has truly been a godsend!
