  I had an absolutely wonderful experience here and want to make sure the entire team gets the recognition they deserve! The staff were incredible from start to finish: Deja checked me in with a sweet smile and explained everything calmly and clearly Stacey took my blood pressure and handled routine questions - I LOVE the energy, what an amazing person! Maggie was with Stacey, learning the ropes, and was very kind and sweet Leila did my exam and made me feel very rest assured, answering all my questions thoroughly Dahlia checked me out - everything went very smoothly and quickly, and even helped me get everyone’s correct names so I could leave this review The facility itself is fantastic, amazing parking lot, easy to get to, clean, and has a big bathroom. Very little wait time, and everyone was so understanding. I love how everyone explains everything so thoroughly and made me feel very rest assured. For context: I’ve been in the Planned Parenthood network for years for all my women’s health needs because trying to get a normal gynecologist appointment elsewhere means booking out severely months ahead. The only way to get an actual decent gyno appointment quickly is through Planned Parenthood, so I’ve just been going to them for everything. I used to go to the Castor Ave Planned Parenthood location, which not only doesn’t have a parking lot, but I left with a bad taste in my mouth the last time I was there. I avoided gynecologists and women’s health appointments for a while after that experience, as I’ve also had issues with standalone “gynecologist” offices as well. This location has completely restored my confidence in getting the care I need as a woman. I really feel rest assured about coming here again if I ever need to. Highly recommend!

  I don’t have insurance and was paying out of pocket when I came in specifically requesting a Pap smear. I was told I didn’t need one because it’s only recommended every five years. This was confusing, as my understanding is that Pap testing alone is generally recommended every three years, while the five-year interval applies to HPV testing or Pap + HPV co-testing. I also have a history of an abnormal Pap result, so I wanted to continue screening every three years for my own peace of mind. Even after explaining that I was paying privately and simply wanted to proceed with the test, the provider still refused to do it. I ended up having nothing done except a blood pressure check and was still charged $40. I left feeling neglected and dismissed, especially since I was taking the responsibility for the cost and just wanted basic preventive care. Patients should be allowed to make informed choices about their own health — particularly when they’re paying out of pocket and have a valid reason to request screening. Afterward, I contacted a different Planned Parenthood location, and they told me that I can get a Pap smear whenever I want, particularly given my history. They confirmed that Pap testing every three years is appropriate in my situation.

  I came here for a wellness visit/pap. I usually go to the Warminster location but unfortunately they had to shut down. I was nervous to come to a new location, but was pleasantly surprised by the kindness of each staff member I encountered. The man working the front desk was very thorough and kind, regarding all of the info he had to go over with me, being a new patient. Diamond was the staff member who took me back and asked lots of medical history questions. I was very nervous (as I always am at doctors) and she was incredibly sweet, kind and understanding. The nurse practitioner I saw, Constance, I really thought went above and beyond. She helped me understand my own health issues more thoroughly than any doctor had before. She asked me multiple times if I had questions about anything and was so willing to answer them. She seemed like she actually cared about me and wanted me to understand what was going on during each step of my visit. I imagine that it is not easy to work in an underfunded medical facility, but the staff members I saw during my visit seemed like they actually cared about their job and their patients. That is rare in my experience. I will definitely come back.
