- NRNicolas Runk4 days ago2.0New management, new policy. 2:1 ratio almost always of staff to patients. It produces negative outcomes for patients. Put another way: if the other person you share your therapist with needs more attention, you get less. The therapists are mostly great. The policy will leave you by yourself, and if you need any care that isn’t routine, expect to be neglected. That was, however, an issue that preexisted the policy change and was only made worse recently. I wasn’t sure if I’d share this part, but here goes. On my last visit, I was assigned a therapist I’d never worked with before after around 6 months of being a patient. No big deal. The first thing she said to me was “You smell good!” in a surprised manner. I told her I shower before every visit before she left me alone for 25 minutes. Worse care, and an insult to boot? Some people pay extra for that. Phoenix offers it for free.
