I never have written reviews about workout classes but I feel like I needed to after taking Jess’s cycle class in Ardmore. Lately, I’ve been in a bit of a rough place mentally and when that happens, working out has always been something that helps me get through it. I decided to sign up for a class this past weekend, not expecting much more than a good workout… but Jess’s class ended up being exactly what I didn’t know I needed.
She started class by having us set an intention our “why” in life. And something about the way she said it just hit me. I found myself emotional during the ride, tears and all haha thank GOD the lights were dim and no one saw because I didn’t realize I’d been holding onto more than I thought. It wasn’t just a workout it was an emotional release for me and I’ve never experienced that working out.
I think there a real difference between an instructor who just guides a class and one who leads with purpose, meaning, and heart. Jess embodies that difference. She motivated us not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. Her words carried more weight than she probably realized they truly shifted my mindset and changed how I approached the rest of my week.
Jess, if you see this please don’t ever stop doing what you do. You have a gift. You turned what could’ve been an ordinary Saturday class into something that genuinely lifted me up when I needed it most. Thank you for being that kind of light and energy people need💛

The room was pitch black and for my very first class they put me in the back row. The music was so deafening that I was wearing ear plugs and the teacher was screaming into microphone and it was literally as if she were speaking a language that no one has ever heard before. I could not understand a word she was saying and I have very good hearing. Why is it that there are certain boutique gyms now that think that you have to go deaf in order to exercise?! I did my own ride and I looked up the person next to me but could barely see her in the pitch dark so I mostly just did what I know from my 25 years of spin classes and I got a good workout but it was most certainly a terrible class. Half the room was empty and there were plenty of seats close to the teacher where I could have seen her.

Love this studio! Corey and Keith are both amazing instructors. Always clean and well stocked bathrooms/locker rooms with showers.

I was like incredibly frightened to do a cycle class as a long-time solo-sesh gym gal BUTTTT the classes here are soooo fun and amazing and the staff is so friendly and helpful!! all the instructors are amazing but I would actually take a bullet for Jess if asked like I am obsessed with her and her classes I fear
