Went to pickup covid antiviral when they opened. Told their computers were down and would call me when back up. 3 hours later, try to call several times with no answer. Drive down to show up in person and told don't have my prescription in stock and no other safeway pharmacies have it either. Told to try CVS or Walgreens and they will "transfer" the prescription. Go to Walgreens but prescription never transfered and the Safeway pharmacy is now closed. Only appeared to be one person behind the counter. Totally unacceptable service for prescriptions needed to treat health conditions. What if this was for diabetes???? Time to change pharmacies ASAP.

Man this this pharmacy is horrible. I called 17 times over a 4-hour period on Wednesday and 9 times on Tuesday ( I am not exaggerating the numbers), and they won't answer their phone. I am going in today to get an answer about a new medication charge after a hospital stay. I changed to this pharmacy because it is where I buy groceries but it has been a bad experience. I had to give one star so that I could submit the review.

Six people lined up waiting, while one person behind the counter struggles to solve a problem for a 50 something couple for 20 minutes. Gave up and left. All I needed was a quick pick up. This location has always been poorly run, but today was the worst. Get more people and a second window for the busiest days and times!

This pharmacy is simply overwhelmed by the number of customers it now serves due to the closing of Rite Aid and another pharmacy, but they have not staffed up to meet the increased demand. The customers are made to suffer. Safeway should look at the customer service commitments made by this contractor, as the current level of service diminishes the Safeway brand.
