So they are slow and understaffed but they try pretty hard. My visit today there is a line 10 people long. Unfortunately they are short staffed

I moved here six months ago and have not purchased pseudoephedrine ANYWHERE since before I moved (and then not very often). I went to this location today and tried to purchase two boxes (which is what I would buy at home). The cashier said that one box rang up with my ID but the second box wouldn't work and I suggested maybe it was a larger box and I would just buy the one. She then voided it out and on the second attempt not even the first box would ring up. The pharmacist said (without even talking to me or looking at me) "she must be over her limit". Not only did I not get what I went in for, but I am certain they have somehow messed it up so it will look like I have already purchased it if I go elsewhere and my sinuses will be miserable indefinitely with nobody at that pharmacy willing to look into why that was actually happening. It made me VERY relieved that I have not transferred any of my actual prescriptions there.

Returning Safeway Pharmacy customer. I now live about 3 blocks (10 minutes) from the Edgewater Safeway, so it's very convenient. Plus everyone has been so good and patient with this 77 year old man. A big thanks to everyone at the Pharmacy for making me feel welcome, and taking care of me.

Customer service is horrible. Receptionist who took my call proceeded to argue with me about how a 30 day refill works. I was told the 30 days doesn't start until the day after you pick it up. The pharmacist proceeded to lecture me how she was right and that you are born on day 0 and the next day is day 1. The concept of counting is beyond these people. I have no problem being wrong, so I called the Walgreens pharmacy and was told day 1 starts the day you pick up your medication. We have been using this pharmacy for years, and there is always a problem trying to fill my wife's medications there. They do not care that someone has a debilitating illness that can only be assisted with pain management. They only see her as a pill hungry addict. This will be the last time I subject my wife to their intolerable actions against her. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. After I would not take no for an answer, the pharmacist said that the prescription is within the allowable fill window and they would be filling it. Why was this not the answer at the beginning. Only after being pushed will they try and help to get out of a negative situation. Stop causing the negative situations and you won't have these horrible reviews.
