This pharmacy has multiple staff members that are lazy liars that lack actual empathy. Be prepared for issues galore, refusal to fill medications after hospital stays, and staff that will throw the same stories tweaked to fit whatever issue you have to feign empathy. They failed me after surgery, they failed my daughter after her emergency room visit, and they are sure to fail you too.

Was at the St. Helens pharmacy twice today. First time waited 20 minutes as the line barely moved and had to leave for a meeting. Came back at night, only 3 people in line. Took 25 minutes to get helped. The Rite aid pharmacy right next door always had 2 lines available. Unfortunately, they had to close. Safeway, hire enough employees to open a second line. We all have lives to live and should never have to wait that long just to pick up a prescription. That is horrible customer service. And NO, this is not the first time.

I was devastated to discover today that, even though my doctor wrote my prescription to be "filled today, start taking tomorrow," Safeway pharmacy will unfortunately not fill it on the correct day if the doctor includes a note for THE PATIENT to know what day to start taking it. So when I desperately need my medication early tomorrow morning, up to 9 hours before the pharmacy will open and fill my prescription, I'm completely screwed. This asinine rule is rigid to an absolute fault and really should be changed back ASAP.
I had previously given this pharmacy 5 stars, due largely in how well Elizabeth managed everything. I was beyond disappointed to find out she left, and now I'm already feeling the negative effects in the worst possible way.
