I was really excited after the quick response time to be seen. I received an email within 48hrs filling out my inquiry stating they could get me in and a date range with the provider. They were open and transparent and flexible with my decision and then changed decision.
After registering for the portal and seeing 12 documents needed to be reviewed I decided I would do this the day prior to my appointment as I had a busy weekend ahead and more time available on Monday. After spending a bit of time on my forms earlier in the day, I hopped into my email to gi ish the last few. Thats when I saw a new email from the practice. After reading I found out they canceled my appointment due to forms not being completed 48hrs prior to my appointment. I was shocked as I hadn't received a call or text to check in. There was nothing in the original emails back and fourth stating they needed to be completed that far in advance. After some digging, I found an email sent the day after scheduling telling me I needed to complete them by the deadline or my appointment would be canceled.
I completely understand, that was my fault for missing the email. But in my defense, I wasn't expecting another email from them, and rarely go into my email in general.
For future, I hope they reach out to patients by text or phone call before canceling an appointment. Try more than one email sent 4 days prior to the appointment to get in touch. We are human, and if the expectations aren't clear to begin with, it makes it difficult to comply.

I've been in therapy since I was 6 years old, and my therapist at Willamette Wellness Center, Katie, has been helping me to uncover and calm extensive and complex trauma that I've had since I was very very young. I really never thought it was possible to heal some of that, to be honest, because after I went through so many therapists, why would I think it would ever be different? But she's positively masterful at it, and great about reminding me to care for myself through the process. She's genuinely changed my life.
I'd recommend her highly for anyone who is ready to do their healing work and to have an incredible partner helping them to do that, if you're lucky enough to get in to see her. Willamette Wellness Center has a real gem in Katie, and I'm lucky to have found her.

Willamette Wellness Center’s intake process demonstrated poor professionalism and communication. The assigned therapist called 10 minutes late, claimed my voicemail wasn’t set up (which it was), and ignored my returned call. Instead of taking responsibility, I received a formal email blaming me for a “no-show” and attaching the no-show policy as if I was at fault.
This reflects broader issues at the center: the system operates bureaucratically, lacks client respect—especially toward OHP patients—and fails to accommodate reasonable preferences, like phone calls instead of Zoom. Accountability and basic customer service are missing.
If you expect efficient and professional care, this center does not meet those standards.

I had the pleasure of knowing Arin in her solo practice before she started WWC, and it is evident she has carried forward her passion for trauma informed care from her own values to the clinicians, admin staff, and clients at this clinic. Willamette Wellness Center is leading the way in offering a wide range of trauma informed therapies proven to be most effective for their patients, with continual advanced trainings for staff; and doing it all with warmth, compassion, and safety for marginalized communities. Bravo WWC.
