- JHJennifer HallerJul 31, 20255.0It has been a few months since my brother, Steven Grenfell passed away. I work for Musgrove Funeral Home in Eugene so I have dealings with hospice a lot. From the first phone call they were exceptional, kind, understanding. It was after hours when I called, probably about 6:30pm-I got called right away by Jenna (manager) and then Sam (Coordinator). Sam met us the next day, he was such a wonderful person and so kind to my brother's and I. Everything was set up that day, Penny the RN met us that day too, so good with my brother, Steven and us. Finally my brother was out of pain and comfortable...I could see in his eyes, he was finally at piece. If I had any questions they got back to me right away, anything I needed they had it for me. My brother passed on the third day...

Rob came out towards the end to pray over her. Her medication was managed well and the RN who came when she passed handled everything with compassion and grace.

The whole team moved very quickly once the referral was complete, and the care plan was excellent. There was a seemless transition to memory care and excellent integration into the care facility. The case manager services were very timely, knowledgable and when needed, decisive. The spiritual component was also very comforting. Though they only had my dad about two weeks, they made the most of it. Our family is grateful for their support.
