I just called to check on the status of a prescription for Eliquis that I put in monday, and the woman who answered yelled at me for daring to do so, and for not magically knowing the medicine I need in order to stay alive is on back-order. EDIT: I called a different Safeway, and didn't get yelled at for asking if I could fill my medication. They had it in stock, too. Guess it's just this pharmacy's problem. Avoid here if you can.

I just needed my antibiotics and I knew better than to go to the slowest pharmacy in Portland but I was told they should be ready by 3. When i got there just after 4 I was told that they were filled but the pharmacist has to verify or sign off or whatever it was and to try back in 10 min. Seems stupid but ok. I sit down and the everyone gets in line. After a 25 min wait in line I was given the same answer. He told me to hang out for a few minutes and then they closed early for Christmas eve. I don't know if it's a general sense of urgency that they lack or if time management isn't a priority but I knew better. My ear drum almost blew and I didn't feel good so I chose logistic convenience over realistic expectations because they are close to my house. So it was my fault that I had to go back to the ER on Christmas Eve because I made the poor decision to roll the dice once again on convenience. I miss living near Walgreens. Happy holidays🤦‍♀️

I went to use the self check and was told that they no longer accept cash in self checkout. If I want to use cash I have to wait in line for a checker. I saw a few people also leave their items and walk out. Save yourself some time and just go to Fred Meyer.

Had the worst experience in this store last night. I couldn’t get help from anyone no one was in line in the pharmacy and I still waited 18 minutes to get help and there were 3 people working . When checked out my cashier Patch was just throwing my items in a bag, I literally took over bagging my own groceries.
