I called and asked if there was a new refill available and both times got placed on a long hold where my call would eventually be redirected entirely. The second time I called, I had spoken to the same person, and they seemed to ask me for the same information after I had just spoken to them moments ago, and then I was left on hold again. Once again, the hold was transferred to a voicemail??? I call again, reasonably feeling confused, and the same person picks up a third time, clearly frustrated with me or at least anxious with my repeated calls, and tries to justify themselves before I once again explain that my calls keep getting rerouted. Now I understand there's a chaos in pharmacies, especially those working out of big corporate chains such as this, but all I really wanted was a few answers as to when I can expect my medication and why I was being redirected several times. I usually really enjoy the experiences I have with some of the pharmacists and staff there, but things have gotten more mishandled, and I've even had my meds misidentified in the past, which prevented me from getting emergency refills. Now I'm also nervous that my meds won't be refilled at all due to this last interaction. Was I just put aside entirely or was there just some weird error in finding the status of my medication? I'd be half tempted to call back if it weren't for my anticipatory dread towards the possibility of reaching the same pharmacy tech. Edit: I want to be more clear that while I empathize with the staff, as it at least appears they are understaffed and overworked, I cannot stress that this affects people's lives. The cost and need of having a prescription is stressful enough for us without having to deal with the transference of stress and displaced frustration of the staff preventing smooth transactions from taking place. I have severe depression and ADHD, which means if I miss certain meds I cease to function properly in my day-to-day life. I can't imagine how much harder it would be if this was related to prescriptions that were more necessary to my livelihood and survival. Im leaving this review because I've had so many continuous issues with this pharmacy and I'm exhausted. I think it's more of a Safeway issue than it is the fault of the staff of the pharmacy.

I love that it had underground parking so my groceries don't get wet from the elements

Compared to other Safeway in the area and local Fred Meyer, this pharmacy deserves TEN stars. I've been coming here for a while and people are always friendly, helpful and go above and beyond to problem solve difficult problems. Also, there are always people in line but never a LONG line as at the other two mentioned. Can't recommend more highly. Also, my med costs a lot, and every time they ask me if I'm aware of that, so I'm not shocked when they ring it up.

Opinions vary, but I think "walk ins welcome" is untrue if you don't frequently have capacity for walk ins. The signs should say "make an appointment <qr code>".
