From the people I spoke to on the phone, the people at the front desk, the assistants, the nurse practitioners, anesthetist, doctors. I have never been in a place where so many strangers provided so much kindness, empathy, support, warmth and compassion. There was not a moment where I didn't feel safe, comfortable and cared for. I can understand how people are upset about the long wait but at the same time this place offers a care that is unparalleled and unobtainable in many/most places in the country. That level of service and compassion takes time and resources. I am so grateful that this place exists for those who need it the most.

After months of not being able to get gyno appointments, and never having a positive experience with hospital gynecologists, I made an appointment with Planned Parenthood. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful and made me feel so safe. Definitely a few delays and some long wait times, but better than being put appointment wait lists for months. I'm very grateful for the staff, their guidance and the amount of resources they were able to provide for me and my personal safety.
