Amazing service tonight from Josh and Teressa. They stayed after hours and didn’t give up to clear the prescription with my doctor and make the manufacturer’s savings card work. Their diligence saved me $300. Thank you!

Best decision I made was transferring to a new pharmacy. It may be 20 miles further of a drive and I have to pay out of pocket, but it's worth every penny to not have to deal with that smug Pharmacy manager at this location.

This pharmacy is very unprofessional in their work ethic. I can see they were supposed to be open at 9am. Isle 7 is backed up with people waiting in line. I see they're not ready to go at 9 when they're supposed to open. On the Saturday I was there they didn't open gate until 9:10 and then they mozy around for another 10 minutes because they're not ready to go to work. So, the people in line have already waited for 20 minutes before they even start waiting on customers. I was there picking up meds for my 86 year old mother. So when she goes to the pharmacy she has to stand in line when she is in extreme pain with her knee and half hour waits and longer are not uncommon. I saw no sense of urgency to wait on the customer and get them out of line. I am talking my mom into going somewhere else for her prescriptions and I am talking to my husband to go somewhere else as well. This is a poor operation with low expectations on dress and grooming, all throughout the store actually.

Unfortunately I'm here to echo the other negative reviews for this pharmacy. The wait times in store to pick up Rx's is unacceptable. Do they not realize that many people who are picking up a Rx don't feel well? I've waited as long as an hour in line. I've tried to go different times of day but it doesn't seem to matter. The other day there was a pharmacist and two workers filling Rx's, the line was backed up to the FRONT REGISTERS, and ONE person was on the register. That's absurd. Second, they don't fill and have them ready when they say they will. I now have to call and remind them that I'm picking it up at the time the automated system told me it'd be ready, otherwise it won't be ready. Third, there's been times when my doctor hasn't been contacted for the refill and it doesn't seem to matter if I've requested the refill through the app, by phone, or with a person. The service has significantly gone down and they need to listen to all of these complaints instead of leaving the same reply. It's like they know many of us don't want to or can't drive into town to another pharmacy so why improve. Because I don't have insurance I spend $300 a month at this pharmacy, but for this kind of service I may have to consider transferring and go back to driving into town.

The wait times at the Safeway Pharmacy in Molalla have become unacceptable. On any given day, you can expect to wait 30 minutes or more in line. Today, there were seven employees behind the counter, yet only one or two seemed focused on assisting customers. Two technicians were on the floor trying to find prescriptions among an unorganized sea of baskets and medications that weren’t in any clear order. Meanwhile, the pharmacist was chatting and joking with staff instead of stepping in to help move things along or bring structure to what was clearly chaos. The line stretched the entire aisle, and when I finally reached the counter, the technician kindly asked how my day was, which I appreciated, but with so many people waiting and only 20 minutes until their lunch break, there was a clear lack of urgency and leadership. This pharmacy used to run smoothly just a few months ago, but the recent change in management is showing, and it’s not for the better. Judging by the growing number of complaints here, I’m not the only one noticing it. Safeway’s standard response of “please reach out through our Contact Us page” is not a solution; it’s a way to avoid addressing a serious operational problem. Please, do better for your customers, your employees, and this community. Do not reply to this review with your standard response. It is condescending and shows a lack of respect for those of us who are taking the time to express our concerns. Instead, take action to fix the issues that are repeatedly being communicated on this platform; actions speak louder and will be appreciated and noticed.
