I just got out of surgery and had to pick up my meds. She let me sit in a chair while waiting for them to be filled. She saw me in the back of the line writhing in pain, got on the second register, and called me up from the front to give me my medication. I’m sure it was something she does to be kind to people on a daily basis but she has no idea how much it helped me in that moment.
