Pamela was very kind and helpful the first time I used this pharmacy. I’m sure it’s a stressful time with the uptick in customers due to other nearby pharmacy closings, so I’m grateful for an easy process. Though I know not everyone experiences that. Looking at reviews maybe I got lucky, but there’s at least a few competent and helpful people behind the counter and that should be known.

Horrible experience. The pharmacy does not answer. The automated system does not provide any updates. I had to go in and wait in line for 20 minutes only to be told they couldn’t fill until friday (3 days later). .. same issues as above, couldn’t get in touch with anyone, no updates on fill if ready, came in, waited again. Was told there were out and I could call to another pharmacy.. all were out. So then I requested my Rx sent to a different company. However, they couldn’t fill until Safeway releases the fill. Guess who’s waiting in line and has been out of needed medication for over a full week? This is unacceptable.

My first experience here was awful, first.. Not sure why all grocers have the pharmacy departments in the very far back of the store... But as I waited in what I thought was the line, a rude Safeway staff member approached me and aggressively told me to get behind the post - there was no post to wait behind. When she figured that out, didn't offer a word of an apology, just a huff. Now, I renewed my prescription on Thursday, and have been calling in since Sunday when they opened to check the status (it's Monday as I type this) and I haven't been able to get in touch with anyone, and I am officially OUT of my prescription today. Unacceptable.
