  Denial is a coping mechanism that gives you time to adjust to distressing situations — but staying in denial can interfere with treatment or your ability to tackle challenges. If you're in denial, you're trying to protect yourself by refusing to accept the truth about something. I recently had my hearing tested at Connect Hearing .I was there with my Dad for his hearing test and was asked if i wanted a test as well. I said no i was fine, ego? denial? So in jest i decided to humor her. I was more interested in free Bluetooth buds with noise canceling as I'm always replacing mine. Seems i have suffered industrial Hearing loss from 33 years in loud environments. Having said that I've always worn hearing protection. Hearing loss is so subtle I hardly noticed it. Today on my hike i wore them, only because the Bluetooth allows me to listen to my tunes( still in denial) The distant sound of a weed trimmer, the birds feeding their newborns, the gurgling of a creek I walk by all the time. Even the hum of bees in the crabapple blossoms. Sadly I never knew what I was missing .... Big thanks to Connect Hearing in Ingersoll they dared me to take the test

  You always feel welcome and safe at this location. I am on my second pair of hearing aids from here. Lisa and Ron are quick to get back to you on any questions you may have and will get you in as soon as possible for any follow up needed. Highly recommended.

  I got my hearing aids from Connect Hearing in Ingersoll and I love them. I love the advanced technology in them and all the options that come along with them, sound quality is amazing. The staff is amazing, they are always ready and willing to look after your every need, they go above and beyond. I would definitely recommend Connect Hearing in Ingersoll for all your Hearing needs.
