  I had a really frustrating experience at Specsavers today. I brought in an older frame that I originally purchased from them about 3 years ago, hoping to simply get new lenses with my current prescription that I did and have on file at this spec savers location last September To my surprise, I was told I’d have to pay an additional $99 because I was “bringing my own frame.” The frame is now considered an outside frame when I BOUGHT the frame from Specsavers in the first place? It''s ON FILE ?! When I tried to get clarification, the staff member I dealt with was completely emotionless offered no real explanation or effort to help. It felt like they were either unwilling or unable to apply any common sense or flexibility, even for a returning customer. This policy comes across as nothing more than a $$ grab, and the lack of customer service made the experience even worse. Very disappointing. I expected better.

  Great place for glasses and service. I was served by Hina who was very professional and knowledgeable and was very helpful in making my selection. I highly recommend Specsavers for care and quality. Thank you Hina

  Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was my 1st time at Specsavers, there was a lot of choice with frames and good quality as well as affordable. I will definitely recommend them to family & friends. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

  Sad theres isnt a 0 star function I have been let down by this establishment time and time again now. If not for some snarky regional manager trying to over-explain that their products are well manufactured and durable (a blatant mistelling from experience), its their optometrist who seems to only be willing to fill prescriptions every 2 years, regardless if it has gone unchanged for nearly a decade. This only feels like they are concerned with incurring monetary appointments, when we were already willing to spend hundreds of dollars, on top of the multiple hundreds spent previously. To turn people away, to refuse a sale of an aid for a BASIC need (sight), because their doctor has a 2 year policy is completely ridiculous. Never suggesting this location.

  I had an extremely disappointing experience with Specsavers. I had an appointment booked for an eye exam and was running slightly late due to heavy traffic, completely outside of my control. I was literally standing right outside the store, about to walk in, when they called me to say my appointment had been cancelled because the doctor “had to leave” since I was late. I explained clearly that I was stuck in traffic and was physically outside the store at that very moment. Despite this, they refused to let me come in. No flexibility, no understanding, no attempt to accommodate the situation. To make matters worse, they then told me they couldn’t find another suitable date to rebook my appointment. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. Things happen traffic delays are normal and the complete lack of empathy or willingness to help is shocking. If this is how they treat customers, I’ll gladly take my business somewhere else where basic understanding and professionalism still exist. Extremely frustrating experience. I won’t be returning.
