- HMHeather MullinsOct 3, 20241.0First off, I am rarely sick. I was very honest about having had this upper respiratory drainage over a week and coughing up green and having a cough. The PA said not bacterial and only needed steroids and was told people Get this confused all the time. I told her nicely that I did not think this was right since this had been going on over a week already and I thought I had it swung and it came back overnight. I also said I have to fly out of town next Friday and am concerned about this not clearing up. I have now missed a week of work, canceled my flight, and will be going to Mercy primary care tomorrow morning for an antibiotic since I am still coughing up green stuff almost a week later and can barely speak. I was hoarse talking to her last Saturday. I was told upon making this new appointment and telling them what was going on and how long it had been going on (almost 2 weeks now) that steroids are not going to take care of an upper respiratory like I am describing much less a z-pak. Unfortunately, I feel Like this PA did not care to listen to what i had to say at Premier. The PA took the easy steroid route and was not wanting to prescribe an antibiotic for what was obviously not allergies a week later when I came in about the symptoms and that it had obviously turned into a bacterial infection. I will not be returning to this urgent care! Also, I was not willing to return to Premier to pay another co-pay to get a different prescription.
