    I appreciate reading the other reviews; unfortunately, they have not reflected our experience. Our average wait time—from arrival to departure—has consistently exceeded two hours when seeing Dr. John Saurino, DO. While his medical expertise is evident and valued, it is disappointing that the value of a patient’s time does not appear to be given the same consideration. We feel stuck, with little or no alternatives. The only predictability we’ve experienced in leaving at a reasonable time is when the office pauses for staff lunch at noon. Respect for patients’ schedules would greatly improve the overall experience. Our appointment was scheduled for 10:00am with stark reminders to be on time. We will be lucky if we are done by 12:30pm. Explanations are welcome from the provider.

    I typically have a great experience with this clinic but how I was treated today on 12-16-25 was completely unacceptable. I am leaving this review due to an unprofessional and disrespectful interaction with a front desk staff member during my visit. I arrived late to my appointment due to a traffic accident on the highway. I calmly explained the situation and emphasized that it was critical I be seen because I needed a medication refill. Despite this, the front desk staff member immediately responded with a short, dismissive, and rude tone, repeatedly stating that I would not be seen and that there were no other openings. I politely asked if she could check with the doctor to see whether an exception could be made given the circumstances. She appeared irritated by the request and returned with the same response. I again expressed the importance of this appointment stating to please find some sort of solution. She then returns saying they’ll see you but you have balance that needs to be paid. You’ll need to make a payment arrangement with our billing department before they’ll see you. I express that I go through this exact issue every few visits and that it needs to be billed to my insurance provider. As I’m attempting to explain details, she takes a paper with their billing department phone number, tosses it up on the counter and says in a very rude dismissing tone, “then YOU can call the billing department”. Rather than handling the situation professionally, her tone became increasingly hostile. When I calmly addressed the way she was speaking to me and explained that a more appropriate approach would be to respectfully explain options or next steps, she rolled her eyes, huffed, and dismissed the conversation. What was most concerning is that she then began making disrespectful, under-her-breath comments and openly talking negatively about me and the situation to other staff members while other patients and I were still standing at the counter and within earshot. This behavior went beyond simply explaining a situation and clearly crossed into gossiping and disparaging remarks, which is completely inappropriate in any professional setting. At no point was I rude, raised my voice, or acted disrespectfully. I understand that policies exist and that being late may limit options, but there is no justification for speaking to a patient in a hostile or disrespectful manner. I do appreciate the doctor making the decision to see me after I showed up 25 minutes late, but this staff members attitude, tone and behavior is not acceptable. Patients deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism, especially when seeking medical care. I hope management addresses this behavior and reinforces proper front-desk conduct and patient communication.
