Top-notch staff—always competent, caring, and friendly.
I’ve had my hearing aids for seven years now, and they’re still going strong.
When the domes began to sit loosely or pop out, the audiologist simply put in some inexpensive retention wires, which made a huge difference! (By contrast, some piggish megacorporation would have hidden that option in favor of a new set of hearing aids for $5K or more.)
Thanks, American Hearing! Great work!

I think the people there are extremely nice. Ive been going there since before they took over Scholl. I have read through some of these reviews...I too was impacted by the sales tax fiasco. I too wound up getting charged more than they said I would. Claiming it was only an estimate. My understanding is you submit what the hearing aids and related will cost and insurance tells you what they will pay. And you pay the remainder. Ive bought eyeglasses and had much experience in insurance submissions and do not recall ever having to pay more.
This past week I went to pick up my repaired and replaced hearing aids. I feel I was very clear I what I was expecting in the program. As far as I could see it wasn't. If they showed it was they should sent instructions or something so I could access what they claimed I could. I also wanted tap control set a certain way. I brought them back so it could be. They didnt say it couldnt. And it wasn't when I picked them up. Also had a staff member walk up and go to grab my hearing aid out of my ear or push it back in without telling me what she was doing before she reached for it nor asking if she could. Yes, she was trying to help but you dont just do that to someone whose not your patient and thus you dont have a patient/Dr relationship with. I dont remember ever dealing w this person before and she did it kind of aggressively. The managers response when I emailed her was basically we know the tax thing damaged the relationship and because of that you were on guard and looking for sonething to go wrong.
