  Went in to get a hearing check and I felt the doctor was wonderful and very knowledgeable during the test. She told me my hearing was on the borderline and it would be a good investment to get hearing aids as preventative care. She went over all the different types they offer and picked out a pair she suggested would be best for me. I told her I’ll think on it. A few months later I called back so I could receive my test results and revisit which hearing aids would work best for my situation and the front desk lady said she would schedule me for an appointment to receive demo hearing aids for a few days. I thought that’s great! I arrived for my 2:30pm appointment only to be told by the front desk lady that the doctor isn’t fitting me today because she would be traveling the next week and couldn’t be in to do any adjusting to the hearing aid if needed. I then asked why was I scheduled for this time and day or why no one called me back to reschedule. No real answer. I asked to speak with the doctor to get a more clear understanding and a few moments later she stomps out with an attitude to tell me that I’m not receiving demos at all because my hearing is fine and she doesn’t know why I even felt the need for demos….. because 1) the front desk lady suggested the demos to me after looking at my chart and 2) she, THE DOCTOR, previously said my hearing was borderline, went over hearing aid options with me, and told me this would be good preventive care. I asked to receive a formal email from the doctor explaining why my appointment didn’t happen so I could explain to my work for taking time off and said, “No we don’t do that, feel free to not come back.” It was just incredibly rude, uncalled for, and unprofessional. I’ve never been approached by licensed medical professional in such a demeaning way. If anyone knows of a hearing doctor that acts professional, I would love to hear about them. Thanks :)

  I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Miracle-Ear in Moore. From the moment I walk in, Elizabeth at the front desk greets me with such warmth and kindness. She makes me feel welcome every single time, like I’m visiting a friend rather than a doctor’s office. Starla, my specialist, has truly changed my life. I had gone 40 years without hearing aids, not realizing how much I was missing. She carefully explained my type of hearing loss in a way I could understand, guided me through the testing process, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Thanks to her knowledge, patience, and professionalism, I now have hearing aids that have completely opened up my world. Both Starla and Elizabeth treat their patients like family and are always willing to go above and beyond to help. They have created such a friendly, caring atmosphere that makes you feel valued and supported. If you’re looking for hearing care, I highly recommend Miracle-Ear in Moore. You won’t find a better team than Starla and Elizabeth!
