My wife was getting care from the Cleveland Clinic Palliative Care department for cholangiocarcinoma. When first diagnosed we knew it was a terminal disease but were hoping for time . When it was necessary to change to Hospice the Cleveland Clinic did not offer home care in our county . We were given a list of local hospice caregivers and Tradition was listed. They had a good rating so we decided to use them. My wife received inadequate care from the very beginning. It took four days for the company to get a bed to our home , a nurse was never assigned to her , there was no consistency in who came or when. Not all of the experience was negative but the majority was. My wife was "added on" to whatever nurse was able to come see her so there was never a connection with the person and no communication between anyone. The bright spot for my wife was her aid. What a wonderful person she was . She made my wife feel special and for that I will for ever be grateful. I would never recommend Traditions Hospice to anyone . I have filed a complaint with the company office in Virginia as well at the State of Ohio .
