- ENEvalynn Nguyen2 days ago1.0I came by Stanton Optical the first time and got my eyes checked. The assistant then led me to a room where I had my eyes checked by a doctor on a zoom call and he rushed through the whole thing. I tried my new prescription for a few days but I ended up hurting my eyes and head by the end of the day. So I called to talk about the issue and made an appointment for a revision via phone. I then came for a second check up and was rudely told by the receptionist that it was my fault for not going to this specific specialist they have for my eye check up (who was in a random corner out of sight, did not know of her until the end of the appointment and it was the assistant who led me to that doctor on zoom). The receptionist then told me to make an appointment with that specialist because unfortunately she is occupied that day. I made an appointment with that specialist, came back the third time, and was told by the same receptionist that the specialist had gone on VACATION!!! It would have been nice to receive a phone call or notice about that before I came to the appointment!!! But since I was there, we all decided to proceed with the check up and I was once again led to the same room with that zoom doctor who half-assed my check up again. When the prescription came out, it was completely different from the first time mind you, where one eye stays the same and the other got completely worse? I gave up and just asked for a refund. I don’t recommend this place. Most of the staff are friendly but that one zoom doctor and the receptionist truly does not care and WILL waste your time. They made the whole place look bad

- SOshane onealAug 26, 20251.0The staff was fine but I was told I had to get the most expensive lenses my 138 dollar eye exam and 2 pairs became 800 dollars i feel cheated and lied to I purchased my glasses but I will not go back in the future
- RHRichard HutchinsonAug 7, 20251.0I have had nothing but bad experiences with Stanton Optical. While, yes, everything is cheap from the exam to the frames it comes at a cost. I got a pair of glasses about 8 years ago and a few months after I bought them they started to get a weird haze around the edges of the lenses that continuously got worse. Recently I decided to give them another try and I went in for an eye exam only to be met with an optometrist on Zoom who rushed me through the exam and I wasn’t able to make sure that I was picking the clearest images on the test. I will not be giving them a third chance. Cheaper isn’t always better especially when it comes to your eyes.
