  I had never heard of Traditions Health Hospice until I met one of the nurses in the Memory Care unit of my mother's Assisted Living Facility. From my first question, I was impressed with each one of the Caregivers and staff. I am so grateful that I chose to work with Traditions Health. My mother was well cared for. Communication was frequent and thorough. Medications were well managed and they worked with us to develop the appropriate treatment and care. The day my mother passed away, the social worker showed up to assist and support me. My wish was to have a blessing done for my mother and the pastor was there within 20 minutes. My mother was a challenge for the team which is another reason I am so grateful to the traditions team. I cannot say enough positive about Traditions. It may not be a name you hear all the time, but they will support you like no other.

  Our family is so grateful to Traditions Health Hospice for the compassionate care they provided as our family member passed away sooner than expected. Emily, Renee, and Lynda went above and beyond to support us during this difficult time. I can’t say enough about how caring, helpful, and empathetic they were. From the very beginning, when we had to move him from a place where he could no longer care for himself, they were there every minute — guiding us through each step. They worked tirelessly to find an incredible facility where he was comfortable, well cared for, and ultimately where he passed away peacefully. Emily guided us with kindness and patience. Renee offered emotional support and practical help that brought real comfort. And Lynne’s skilled, compassionate care brought us peace in those final days. Their presence, dedication, and empathy meant the world to us. We will always be so very thankful for the care they gave and the support they offered to our entire family.

  My mother received lots of attention at the beginning, but slowly tapered off. I liked the initial staff a great since they were so personable and followed up with to be sure that I was okay. However, as time went on, and possibly due to other individuals signing up for Traditions services, I did have to call a few times to get increased attention for my mother. Then there were staffing changes and I felt that the interim staff were not as proactive and I had to ask for things to make my mother more comfortable that they should have suggested instead of a family member telling me what should be happening. So, while I wish the rating was broken up into initial, ongoing, and ending phases in my mother’s hospice care, I arrived at the rating above.

  Traditions made my mom's end of life journey very comfortable. Their staff is compassionate toward the patient and the grieving family. They worked hard to advocate for mom while she lived at home and later within the assisted living facility. We are grateful!

  My Mother passed away this past November, and at the end of her life, she was cared for by the wonderful folks from Traditions. From our first contact with their staff, my Mom and our family were treated with the utmost respect and care. They kept us aware of their plans to keep my Mom safe and comfortable, and made sure we were part of every discussion and decision that needed to be made as things changed. They were there for support for us, as my Mom was moving closer to transitioning and leaving us. Afterward, they were so kind and gentle with my Mom, and provided her with her final care, so that we could be present with my Mom and comfort each other. They handled making all the phone calls that are necessary after a loved one passes, and other logistical issues that are hard to think about while you’re grieving. I’ve been a nurse for almost 40 years, and I know it takes special people to do what they do, because it’s far from easy. I’m grateful for all of the kind people from Traditions that I met, and also for the ones I didn’t, including all the people behind the scenes who keep this company moving. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us, and hope that other families are able to reach out to them for help when they are in need. Thank you, Traditions, very, very much.
