- ESEmma SJun 20, 20195.0A good audiologist is as important as the hearing aids you buy. This is what I found at Southland Hearing with Dawn. She knew the products and she understood my hearing loss. We had a nice conversation about the history of my hearing loss, past hearing aids I've worn, and my hopes and expectations for them. I was fortunate to have insurance for most of the cost, but she did not pressure me at all to get anything I couldn't afford or wasn't comfortable with. She was so kind and understanding, and I will go to her for all of my needs in the future.
