My experience with Nurses Care was very disappointing. Over the past 3 years or so, I have a patient of 4 different home care companies and Nurses Care has been by far the worst I have experienced. They seem to be seriously understaffed for the area they are trying to cover and serve. During the time I was with them, employee turnover was an issue as well.
In addition, on more than one occasion my nurse decided to change my plan of care to suit her preference and schedule and later informed my doctor of the changes.
And finally, Nurses Care decided to discharge me because they didn't have staffing to take care of me. When I was discharged, they didn't let me know. They didn't show up for a visit and I called, left messages, and texted multiple times to find out what was going on. My nurse never had the decency to return my call or texts. a few days later I found out at my doctor's appointment that I would have to find a new home care company.
In summary, if you or a loved one are in need of home care, DO NOT USE NURSES CARE

Very disappointed. Would not use them again. Nurses who no-show. Last minute appointment scheduling. PT/OT with no follow through on their own recommendations from one visit to the next.
