I consider it a privilege to be able to have Dr. Boster as my neurologist. He is one of, if not the best, in the field. He assists me navigating my MRIs out of state (local to me and with anesthesia). The clinic is comfortable and inviting; the staff, particularly Ashley, are genuine, welcoming and kind. If you are anywhere near the Ohio area, I highly recommend The Boster Center!

By FAR THE BEST!!!! Dr Boster takes the time to listen to you as a patient and not an insurance claim . He has listen to all my issues and has paired me up with his associate Rhonda, they are very quick to return phone calls. If You have issues in regards to an appointment or medication needs…. Rhonda is AMAZING!!!!!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Boster since 2008. He never ceases to amaze me in the care that he provides. He genuinely cares and fights the fight with me. He listens to my meltdowns and angry spells with so much empathy and understanding. MS sucks and he knows it and tries everything he can to make it easier and more manageable for us.

I gotta say I'm quite disappointed in the care I received. The 1st visit was great. They got me registered quickly and ready for my 1st visit. It was all bells and whistles and thorough. Felt listened to and validated. But that quickly changed. My lesions are stable yet Dr. Boster wanted me to keep coming down every 6mths for 5 years, wanted me getting my MRI's at their preferred radiology center down there, insists it's a CCF facility. They assisted me with FMLA and Reasonable Accommodation paperwork, but I had a difficult employer. Dr. Boster agreed I could just have yearly appointments and MRI's since I was stable per my request... but then their office called and said I needed in-person 6mth visits to stay an active patient per policy. They often called me to change tele-health appointment times to mornings when I preferred them in the afternoon, just fyi. They even called me the day before my next in-person 6mth follow-up to request it be changed to a tele-health visit because the A/C broke. I had to come down anyways for my MRI so I opted to keep it in-person. Dr. Boster was quite short with me and didn't offer me any time to ask questions, but he did continue addressing my ongoing evolving symptoms. At my 1-mth follow-up to see how the Rx was going he was again very short with me, only wanted to talk about that Rx. By this point I was in the process of losing my job and his office had stopped returning phone calls. I also had some billing issues with that MRI clinic and despite it being a CCF facility they bill differently under another name and the bill does not roll into my CCF payment plan like the rest of my CCF care does. The staff there were also something else... I didn't get my IV inserted until it was time to do the dye. What if they missed and couldn't get my vein? The radiologist also didn't comment on my other chronic stuff that prior radiologists did like hemangiomas and fat pads... they only mentioned the known lesions. I'd like to know if the other stuff is stable too since I'm sitting in that drawer for 90min! I also have to take flexeril to be able to tolerate laying on my back that long. I told Boster I'd rather have the scans done locally and he insisted he wanted them done at this facility. Well, my symptoms continued to progress and evolve, and I was panicking since I was in the process of losing my job... ended up finding a really good and thorough MS Neurologist 5min from my home with CCF. Was able to get in and seen within a couple of days and he ordered some other follow-up studies to help me get answers to my ongoing symptoms, agreed to do yearly MRI surveillance and would see me in 6 mths. I had an NfL test come back elevated so I called Boster's office to discuss and request records for my disability paperwork... they told me he wanted to schedule a tele-health visit to discuss, so I did. I explained I'd rather see an MS Neurologist locally instead of having to come down there every 6mths for in-person office visits. He said he understood and said his door would always be open... well, that's not what he put in my note! He documented that I declined his follow-up recommendations! I messaged him in my patient portal requesting he correct his documentation because now I'm filing for disability and he makes it look like I'm being non-compliant when I am simply choosing to follow another doctor locally and was on the schedule for June 2026 for my next MRI. He refused insisting that's not how he remembers the visit. I asked if there was any recording of the tele-health visit that I could have and review for my own records and the office said no. I was informed they were closing my chart and deactivating me as an active patient so I would soon no longer be able to access my portal for records. I am not ok with this from a provider! Very disappointing!
