The staff at this location is really wonderful, but unfortunately that is outweighed by all of the issues with their backend processes (billing and appointment scheduling).
In October of 2024, I had a routine exam scheduled for a Saturday appointment. I show up to it and the doors are locked, no one is there.
In April 2025, I had another routine exam scheduled for a Saturday, I called to speak with someone to verify that they would be open that day. The woman at the desk told me she was confused why someone would schedule me on said day because they aren't open then. They were at least able to get me in on the Friday before.
As far as billing, I had routine appointments in Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 (or SP24 and FA24, can't exactly recall) that I paid out of pocket for because they couldn't find my employer's insurance as being covered (it was). I made claims to my insurance for these two appointments around near end of 2024/beginning of 2025. It took Refresh Dental months to get my near $700 back to me. I used two separate cards for the two appointments. Once they refunded card A, it still took a while for it to come through to card B. Once card B was refunded, the amount was incorrect and they had to refund me the rest in a different transaction.
I had an appointment in April 2025 where I paid $50 out of pocket for copay, xrays, etc. But in June 2025, I received a bill saying I owed $125 from that appointment. On top of that, they said I had a previous balance, so my total that I owe them is $764. This is entirely inaccurate as they just refunded me all that money and I paid my April 2025 balance at that appointment.
I called them in June 2025 to talk about this and got no response. I received another bill for this a few weeks ago, so I called them that Friday, last Monday, Tues, Weds, and Thurs, and got no response. I left voicemails each time. I will have to stop up there later this evening to see if I can receive any help in person.
Update: online hours are incorrect. It says they close at 6pm on Mondays, apparently it is 5pm. So I went to go see them and once again they are closed, doors locked, no one here.
The team here is very nice, but I can't continue to go somewhere that I can't trust if they will be open for my appointment and where they can't keep track of the money I pay them.
