I was told I needed filling when I did my cleaning, and the male dentist offered to do it the same day which I appreciated. However I will say that the hygienist did a better job at explaining what’s happening than the actual dentist, which I taught was odd. I should have considered other place when I saw the dentist didn’t even want to take the time to explain what I needed and what the process will be like ( I kind of over looked it because I didn’t want to make an appointment and wait for another place to schedule me). I was numbed and left alone randomly, then filling was done in a very questionable way ( not once did the dentist check on how I was doing). They told me I was done and I went home. 3 days later I have started to have sensitivity I didn’t even have prior to them telling me I needed a filling, which has been such a stressor for me because I have never had any type of sensitivity/toothache before. So all is to say get your second opinion and go somewhere where you feel safe ( I know I wish I did).
