    I am writing this review to document my experience regarding a “lifetime warranty” I purchased with my LASIK procedure in 2019 at the Kendall location Lasik Vision Institute. In 2019, I left a very positive review because I was genuinely happy with the procedure, the results, and the care I received. At that time, my vision was excellent and the experience aligned with what was promised. Now, in 2026, I have experienced a significant decline in my vision that is affecting my daily life. Based on the lifetime warranty I paid for, I contacted the company to have my vision assessed and to discuss enhancement or retreatment options. What I discovered during this process was deeply concerning. I was informed that the Kendall location filed for bankruptcy in May 2020, and that as a result my lifetime warranty is now considered “nonexistent.” I was told that when the company was later acquired by LCA Vision / LasikPlus, warranties from the Kendall location were not assumed and therefore would not be honored. I spoke with two different representatives regarding this issue. One of them, named Tisa Davis, explicitly stated that she was the highest authority available and that no one else would have more information than her. When my call was transferred to her, I asked for permission to record the conversation before she began speaking, and she consented. The entire conversation with this representative was recorded with her knowledge and permission. Following that conversation, I was left with the clear impression that there was no internal escalation path and no willingness to provide transparency. When I asked for basic, publicly available information, such as the company’s address, I was told that my lawyer would need to call to obtain that information. This was alarming. On top of paying for a lifetime warranty that is now being voided, I am being told I must incur legal costs simply to obtain fundamental company details. As a so-called resolution, I was offered a “substantial discount” of $500 per eye if I chose to undergo the procedure again with them. This offer felt less like a good-faith accommodation and more like an attempt to make the issue go away after I had already paid for lifetime coverage. After researching this matter independently, I discovered that this is not an isolated incident. Similar complaints are documented across multiple social media platforms and are also reflected in Better Business Bureau complaints, where other patients across different states describe the same pattern: purchase of a lifetime warranty, followed by bankruptcy or location closure, a subsequent acquisition under a different corporate name, and the declaration that the warranty is void. As a patient who was once satisfied enough to leave a positive review, this experience has left me feeling misled and taken advantage of. A “lifetime warranty” should not effectively expire due to corporate restructuring while the brand, services, and patient records continue under a new ownership name. I am pursuing this matter further, but I am sharing this review so other patients are aware of this documented pattern before committing thousands of dollars based on promises that may later be disclaimed.

    I can’t say enough great things about this LASIK surgery center! From the moment I walked in, the staff was professional, welcoming, and made me feel completely at ease. Every step of the process was explained clearly, and they took the time to answer all of my questions, which really helped calm any nerves I had. The procedure itself was quick and virtually painless, and the results were life-changing—I could see clearly almost immediately! The doctors and technicians are incredibly skilled and genuinely care about their patients. If you’re considering LASIK, I highly recommend this center. Best decision I’ve ever made!

    I really can't say enough good things about the Cincinnati team. Everyone I spoke to, beginning to end, was warm, reassuring, and professional. I got my lasik on the Friday afternoon before Christmas, when it would have been really easy for folks to be a little checked out, but that was absolutely not the case. My care team was upbeat and so excited for me! The procedure itself was quick and painless and the results were immediate, which I knew they would be going into it, but it's a whole other thing to sit up and just magically be able to see. I'm a little over a week out now and other than occasionally using my artificial tears, everything is completely back to normal, except now I have 20/20 vision. Everything has gone textbook perfect for me! I'm still kind of in awe that in five minutes, they fixed my eyes, but they sure did! I honestly don't think I would have trusted any other team to do it.
