Extremely rude and inconsiderate of peoples time. Don’t waste your time at this place.
We offer several braces options: metal, ceramic, and Invisalign. Give us a call to schedule an appointment and get started.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes! Please give us a call to schedule an appointment.
How do I know if I am a good candidate for braces?
Dr. Boley can tell you if you are a good candidate for braces. When you get an evaluation exam, he will check your alignment and assess the overall health of your teeth, mouth, and gums. Give us a call to schedule an appointment.
What can I accept during my first visit?
Your first visit with Dr. Boley is always complimentary! During this new patient exam, you will meet Dr. Boley and our team. Our treatment coordinator will give you a special tour of the office and take diagnostic photos and x-rays.
Dr. Boley will complete a thorough exam as you discuss your concerns and then suggest the best treatment options. We understand the needs of our families, and time is so important. We are often available to provide orthodontist services on the day of your exam if you prefer!
What happens if I have a broken bracket?
Call our office immediately! We will arrange for a repair visit or at least a comfort visit. You can place wax on the broken brace to stabilize it (if it’s still attached to the orthodontic wire) or bring it to us for repair or replacement.
What happens if I lose or break my clear aligner?
Please call the Boley Braces office to go over the instructions. If you are able, wear a previous aligner for a regular prescribed time (22 hours per day)
What should I do if I have irritated lips or cheeks?
When struggling with irritated lips/cheeks/sores, make sure to rinse your mouth often with a salt and warm water solution. Be sure to cover your braces with wax as well. Hopefully, by repeating these steps frequently, your irritation will subside. Please give our office a call for additional guidance.
What should I do if I have wires poking?
The quickest solution for uncomfortable wires is to place wax over the sharp edge. This allows a barrier to form between your mouth and the wire. If needed, trim away excess wire using a cuticle cutter or nail clipper.
Is there parking?
Yes! We share a parking lot with the other three practices, but there’s usually plenty of room. If you require accessible parking, there are two spots located in front of the building.
What should I do if a rubber band comes loose?
When a rubber band becomes loose you can usually fashion it back into place using a pair of sterilized tweezers. Give us a call if you have any issues.
How do crooked teeth affect gum health?
Crooked teeth can create tight spaces where food particles and plaque accumulate, leading to bacterial growth that irritates the gums. This can cause gum pain and increase the risk of gum disease.
Can poor oral hygiene impact digestion?
Yes, neglecting oral hygiene allows harmful bacteria to thrive in the mouth. When swallowed, these bacteria can irritate the stomach lining and intestines, potentially leading to digestive issues.
How can I manage teeth-grinding habits?
Teeth grinding, or bruxism, can lead to jaw pain, tooth sensitivity, and gum recession. To manage this habit, consider stress-reduction techniques, wearing a mouthguard at night, and consulting with a dental professional for personalized advice.
What should I expect when getting braces?
After getting braces, you may experience general soreness in your mouth and tenderness in your teeth for a few days. Rinsing with warm salt water can alleviate discomfort. Your lips, cheeks, and tongue might also become irritated as they adjust to the braces. Using orthodontic wax can help reduce this irritation.
