Since being bought by North American Dental Group, this place has become the worst dental facility in this area. Terrible custom service, long waits for a cleaning, and they have no billing manager. All billing now goes to corporate, and corporate is incompetent and worthless. Find someplace else, this place is terrible.

I normally don’t leave reviews unless necessary, but I feel other patients should be aware of my experience with this office.
I returned after 2 years away and immediately encountered multiple issues:
Billing problems:
I paid my copay at each visit but was often charged again. Most recently, I received a $659 bill months after treatment. My insurance denied part of the claim because the office billed front teeth restorations incorrectly — they submitted separate codes for the same procedure (“unbundling”), which insurance flagged. Even after insurance explained the error, the office tried to place the responsibility on me.
Lack of communication:
I was not informed about multiple fillings per tooth. A predetermination was not sent to insurance, even for this high-cost procedure. Each time I requested answers, I was brushed off or told I might hear back later.
Patient care issues:
I was not allowed to have support with me for my dental anxiety. The hygienist was often short and dismissive when I experienced discomfort during X-rays or while using the mouthpiece.
Trust concerns: I was told some cavities were minor and quick to fix, yet the billing reflects extensive restorations that don’t match the time spent in the chair (under 2 hours for 4 teeth).
I have filed complaints with the Ohio Dental Board, the Ohio Dental Association, my insurance, and the corporate office. All I want is for my bill to be corrected and for the office to take accountability. Despite repeated attempts, no one has contacted me to discuss or fix anything.
Until then, I cannot recommend this practice. Patients deserve transparency, ethical billing, and respectful care.
Edit: I have tried contacting both the office and the overhead office multiple times with no response. The office has an F rating with the BBB, reflecting a pattern of unresolved complaints, billing issues, and poor communication.
Update: The bill was eventually fixed, and I appreciate that it was corrected in the end. But let’s be honest — it only happened because I escalated it. I was ignored for two weeks until the state dental board contacted them, and then suddenly the overhead office called me that same day. If I hadn’t fought it, they were going to stick me with the bill. I also read another review where someone said their balance was written off but still got sent to collections anyway, so I’m hoping that doesn’t happen here amd we're finally done. Please double-check your bills if you come here, but honestly, it may be best to avoid this office until they can stop the billing issues, take accountability, and quit blaming patients or insurance.

After years of neglecting my dental care. I finally decided to go get a check up. Dr. McGuire was wonderful, she went over my x-rays with me explaining everything that was going on with my teeth and what I needed work on. Especially helping me focus on the more urgent stuff that needed to be addressed right away. She was very informative and knowledgeable but more importantly very patient with me as I do not speak Dr lingo so she brought it down to laymens terms so I could have a better understanding. The whole team was very kind and courteous from the very start. Shelbie with the x-rays, and the 2 assistants Ashley and Sevinch who helped me get situated. Thank you again ladies and the whole Stone Creek dental team. I will definitely be seeing guys again. Your in good hands at this place.
