  As a new patient to the smithtown office I would say my experience here was a 10/10. The lady that took me in, I believe her name was melanie she was so pleasant and made me feel very comfortable even when she had to take my blood it was painless and quick, my overall experience was great and i definitely recommend this place!

  I wish I read the comments prior to going to this facility. I felt so awkward because the girl at the front desk ask me if my insurance was Medicaid. I most definitely did not look as though I was a Medicaid patient and the level of stereotyping really threw me off. The staff are not empathetic and should not be working in healthcare. As a hiring manager, if an application crosses my desk from someone who have worked in planned parenthood, I will ignore the application because in healthcare we look for empathetic and caring individuals. The MA was extremely sarcastic and rude and I felt the whole experience was very unpleasant. As someone who’s in a senior executive position in healthcare, I would not recommend this facility. It’s unfortunate because you higher the type of people based on pay rates and the lower the pay scales, the worse candidates you attract. Not everyone entering your facility is from a poor background and do not blanket the entire population. It was extremely poor service and I did not get the services I went in for.
