Dr. Alexander J. Hatsis is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and external disease. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of Lublin in August 2019 with honors after receiving his Bachelor of Science from the University of Rhode Island in May 2015.
Dr. Hatsis completed his ophthalmology residency at Nassau University Medical Center, where he served as Co-Chief Resident in 2024. His work has been published in Orbit and the Romanian Journal of Ophthalmology among others.
Dr. Hatsis is also dedicated to community service, actively volunteering with Live Out Loud, mentoring LGBTQ+ youth and participating in scholarship selection committees.
