  Going to the “clinic” was more like going to a car dealership than going to a medical provider. I brought my Audiology Report from November 1, 2025 to my December 29th appointment. The test was administered by the LBJ Hearing Institute at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Your provider refused to accept the results. They said it was the law that they must do the test themselves. In New York State, hearing aid dispensers are generally required to ensure a hearing evaluation has been performed within a specific timeframe before a sale, but the law does not strictly mandate that they conduct the test themselves if a valid recommendation exists from another qualified professional. In short, they lied to me. They lied in your name. The staff was professional but not personable. I was simply moved from person to person as part of their process. The salesperson, I think his name was John, showed me the two deductible amounts that I had with my insurance. He did not let me try a hearing aid. I have no idea how it sounds. He said I had a 60-day trial period with my new hearing aid to approve it or try another hearing aid. It was take it or leave it. That was it, he wanted the money and then out the door.

  After hearing test was told I had a mass or tumor behind my ear. Went to ent. No mass. No tumor Husband went there again to get his hearing aid fixed. The owner said he has the vanity hearing aids and why didn't he get the ones behind the ears - how arrogant.
