I called to see if they would have frames that would fit my current lenses. Dave told me to come in that they would do what they could to help. When I arrived they made it a mission! Dave and Lauren were truly kind and helpful. I left with new frames and a new eye care place.

I called ahead to schedule his appointment and spoke with Ken, specifically asking if his insurance was accepted, and I was told that it was. I also requested a contact lens appointment. However, when we arrived, the doctor only performed a glasses exam and appeared very rushed. A proper contact lens exam was not performed. We were then told that the doctor wanted my partner to use glasses first before contacts, which felt unnecessary and appeared to be an attempt to have us spend more money on both glasses and contact lenses, rather than providing the service that was originally requested. When I later spoke to Ken in person, he explained that the doctor had to leave at 4:45 PM and therefore could not complete the contact lens exam. This was extremely frustrating, especially since my partner’s appointment was scheduled for 4:30 PM, which should have allowed enough time. This information was never communicated to us beforehand. Overall, this was a complete waste of our time and very unprofessional. We did not appreciate the lack of communication, rushed care, or the lack of consideration for our schedule at all.

Ken helped me pick out frames with the utmost patience and was also very knowledgeable, kind and friendly. Lauren was also wonderful, knowledgeable and extremely helpful, and has been a staple of experience there since I first started going there many years ago. She was always there to fix things if my great-quality glasses needed tweaking, which was not often at all. I highly recommend Sterling Optical.
