I love Anne! I have followed Anne from the poughkeepsie location to Newburgh, and i would honestly follow her anywhere. Anne has been my saving grace for years. She is always compassionate, personable, caring, friendly, supportive and funny! When no other doctor would listen to me, Anne did. She didn’t question me or try to gaslight me. She listens because she cares and then she HELPS! Everyone should see Anne. She is truly one of a kind. You can feel how special she is from the moment she walks into the room. She brings love and light to every appointment. The medical field should be staffed with people just like Anne! I am forever grateful to have found her. Thank you for all you do, Anne! The low rating about the front end staff is true, they are not always the kindest. In my opinion, i do not care about the friendliness of the front staff. They do nothing for health, just schedule and billing. Could be a robot for all i care.

Gave me an appointment for 1040 am . I came in at 1030am. It is almost 12 and I am still sitting here . Why bother giving appointments ? Just tell patients its first come first serve . I am self employed and could've gotten some work done and get paid , then come in afterwards, since my appt time isn't going to be honored anyways , clearly. Other than that . So far , they're ight . I am highly annoyed .

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars — because of the nurse practitioner and assistant. Otherwise, it would be 1. Yesterday was my first time visiting Planned Parenthood, and I want to acknowledge that the nurse practitioner and medical assistant were absolutely wonderful. They were kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the front desk staff. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist seemed surprised to see me and gave the impression that she didn’t want to be there. I waited nearly an hour for her to prepare a new cost estimate—despite already having one on file. When I scheduled my appointment weeks ago, I was told over the phone that based on my background and lack of insurance, I wouldn’t need to pay. I hadn’t expected that, but I was incredibly grateful, as I’m a full-time nursing student working only 10–20 hours a week and have limited income. Yesterday, I came in prepared based on that information—with little money, assuming I wouldn’t be charged. But the receptionist questioned my income and gave me a look that made me feel judged and disbelieved. I explained that the amount I reported was accurate, that I’m a student. Still, her attitude was dismissive and condescending. She later told me I needed to pay over $400—an amount I simply did not have. I only had a card with $200. Because of this, I had to ask the CNA to limit my services to just the Pap test, even though I had originally scheduled a full preventive exam including STI and HPV testing. I left feeling deeply disappointed. I came to Planned Parenthood because I needed accessible care. Instead, I felt judged and discriminated against based on my appearance, age, and zip code. Signing a new estimate under pressure, without any flexibility or understanding of my situation, was incredibly disheartening. what if I hadn’t even had that? Would I have been turned away from care? People like that receptionist should not be the first point of contact at a place that’s supposed to offer support and compassion. I hope this experience doesn’t happen to others who turn to Planned Parenthood in vulnerable moments. I am adding pics of both estimates.

I do not have enough wonderful things to say about this PP. I walked in without an appointment, during a truly difficult experience, and the women there 💯 went out of their way for me. Compassionate and caring, they really try to accommodate everyone - which can lead to long wait times - DEAL WITH IT! I saw someone walk out today cussing at the staff while I was there and it was really sad. This organization is really trying to do the best they can for ev-ery-one. If you want a short line, make an appointment, or go to a private practice. Not only did they hand-hold me through my visit, I left with caring hugs. I stand with PP.
