The teachers at this location are absolutely amazing and definitely underpaid for the work they put in. All the yoga sculpt teachers are incredible.
However, this studio needs significant renovation. The carpet is dirty, the lockers are falling off the hinges, and keep in mind there are only two bathrooms. Classes also get extremely crowded specifically in the popular ones such as yoga sculpt. Obviously it allows more people to practice but it’s something to keep in mind.
I want to also mention that I think there should be a stricter cell phone policy in the studio. Some of the teachers (Jamie!!) explicitly mention it to students but a lot of times the room is crowded with people on their phones, sometimes even on calls. It’s very distracting and I think it would be to everyone’s benefit to emphasize no phones (of course aside from special circumstances). Having phones out also is dangerous with classes using any weights.
I also want to mention that sometimes instructors don’t unlock the door for customers in a timely manner( the studio is on the second floor so you have to buzz in). Since there is such a strict late or no show fee, people should be let in a minimum 15 minutes before class if they have arrived by then. I along with many others come from work and there are times where a line starts to form outside the door because the door hasn’t been unlocked despite several buzzes. I understand that the teachers are extremely busy but it would be helpful to ensure that people are let in on time without worrying about being late to change for class, etc.
But all the love for the teachers that make this studio worth attending!!

I had a really awful experience with instructor Allison B yesterday, who threw me out of the studio after I arrived a few minutes late (as the building was not accessible) and tried to join the very small class. I work in healthcare and this was my first day off in two weeks, I was looking forward to this class— and she treated me not like a client but like a nuisance as I was quietly looking for a mat to join class. She told me I “can’t join because I was past the deadline” and “shouldn’t haven’t even been let in the building.” I’ve never felt so disrespected, and as someone who works in a high stress environment don’t understand where the antagonism was coming from on her part. She offered me no alternative to leaving the studio as the next class wasn’t for several hours. I will not be returning to this location.

Have been a CorePower member for 4 or so years and used to go much more often. The company is frequently updating their terms and conditions and then doing sketchy things. Examples include: increasing the "locked-in" monthly membership price and raising the amount of time before a class you can cancel without paying a fee. You also used to be able to pause your membership for free, but now they make you pay $15/month even while inactive.
The studio can be kind of gross, but worse the mats are very close together, which makes it hard to feel comfortable and flow if you're taller. It's really hard to get into the right headspace if you're constantly worried about kicking the person behind you.
I have had a really good experience with teachers here and at other locations around the city, and I think those teachers are quite underpaid for the effort, energy, and time they put into it.
I'm so tired of every private equity-owned company soullessly extracting as much of my money as they possibly can at every turn.

The teachers are good but the cost for membership is pricey considering the rate is the same as upscale gyms in the area. The space needs a renovation
