The teachers really vary at this location. Several times after paying for $40 drop in I have teachers who barely understand how to do yoga can barely remember the sequence that they’re supposed to be doing laugh and make awkward jokes about how they keep messing up is really distracting. It’s sort of appalling that there’s no feedback or actual training that they have it seems like. It’s also so hard to take a 22-year-old seriously after practicing over for 20 years. I recognized that it’s a learning experience for them, but why isn’t there any feedback from mentor teachers if you’re going to charge that much for a class. The over cue-ing is so distracting perhaps learn how to be human if you are going to teach. It’s condescending and distracting to have non stop cueing.

Today was my first class at CorePower! I had a great class and enjoyed the instructor. I agree with the other reviews that the mats are extremely smelly and really put me off returning. Obviously you can bring your own, but if the state of the mat reflects the cleanliness of the studio, then I’m concerned.

I’ve taken a few classes and I like the sculpt classes and most of the instructors are good/ok. I went today after a while and remembered why I stopped coming - the studios in a poorly ventilated basement and SMELLS SO SO BAD (like feet). The worst smell was the rental mat , I almost threw up every time doing a child pose. The cost-cutting at this place gives private equity ownership vibes. At least give a blanket to cover the rental mat if they’re going to smell so bad! And burn some palo santo between classes.
I’ll check back in a few months, hope things change.

Ok for what it is, I'm sure it's great. But it's very strange that nowhere on their main website page does it say this is hot yoga?!?! That should be made very clear at the top of the page. So I get there for an 8:30am class with Kirsten (I think that was her name) without eating anything or drinking much water beforehand, two things that are necessary for a comfortable seamless class. I was miserable, literally dying and felt like I was going to faint... All could have been avoided if they simply made it clear this is hot yoga. Unbelievable honestly.
Then during class, the teacher had the music so loud, that I could barely hear her. Super annoying. I even told her, and did she do anything about it? No, left the music the same. If she raised her voice , I could barely tell. Teachers should know that as yogis we should always be practicing listening to the movements and gaining the skill of being able to take a class without having to constantly look at the instructor. Also how am I going to look at her when I am upside down and in awkward positions?!?! If they are going to blast the music then they should have teachers wear a mic or something. And why would the teacher be ok with me not being able to hear? Not sure why she didn't want to help me hear her. I ended up having to leave a little more than halfway through bc I felt weak and sick, and my clothes were drenched making me uncomfortable, another thing I would have done differently if I knew it was hot yoga.
Please clarify that it is hot yoga on the home page of your website!

Like many others, I feel I was misled with the new cancellation policy issue. The App says 2 hrs but they charge for 10 hrs! and you don’t see new policy until they email you charge notice. Still trying to get my money back.
