Unusable during construction. Half the gym is shut down, including the water fountain. Not sure that’s even legal given NYC rules about fitness centers. But no apologies here (they have water back there, it’s just not for you, who are somehow on the hook for your usual monthly rate despite getting nothing in return). Can’t wait to see the new paint job on the other side.

Don't join this place until the upgrades are done. No one is paying attention to the air quality.

Easily the worst gym I’ve ever been to. They are handling this “rennovation” in the worst way possible. They’ve closed off majority of the gym for weeks on end, getting rid of all the equipment I use. They don’t have any water available, and they have gotten rid of anything containing sugar which I, as a diabetic, need at a moments notice.

Puregym shut the Chelsea facility without sending any kind of email or text explanation. Assuming it's temporary, but who knows.

When I bought a membership to this gym, no one warned me that renovations would begin in a month. As a result, most of the gym is closed. Many of the machines are missing. There is dust and dirt everywhere. And there isn't even any drinking water! A gym employee said that there won't be any water for another two weeks. Free water is a basic requirement. It's the minimum. It's a legal necessity. I've never had a worse experience in my entire life!
